Mad Men Roundtable: “Christmas Comes But Once a Year”

I’m interested to see where this is going, but this storyline looks to be a good reminder that Mad Men isn’t all allegory. Glenn going all Fatal Attraction in the Draper house doesn’t represent anything intrinsic to the series as a whole. It’s character drama, that doesn’t in any way serve as an allegory for the Kennedy Assassination. That’s important to remember as we watch Mad Men. Sometimes, Don represents the pre-Woodstock Generation. Sometimes he’s just Don Draper.
