Pardon us for the lateness of this Mad Men roundtable; someone ran my typing fingers over with a lawnmower and it’s taken all week to get back in the swing. Don and EJ don’t even have that good an excuse. Leave it to the woman to handle everything; figures!
This episode of Mad Men had a couple of weird homages to horror movies. Sally was horrified by a Barbie doll (a gift from Baby Gene) that Don had saved from the bushes and placed on her dresser late at night, which reminded me of the clown in Poltergeist. Then there was the whole grisly lawnmower scene which ended up with Harry, Ken, and Paul spattered in blood.
