Mad Men Roundtable: “Public Relations”

The new agency is struggling for an identity, something Don was once able to conjure up with relative ease.  By episode’s end, even everyone’s favorite punchline of a client, Ho Ho, was willing to take his Jai alai basket and go home simply because Don hadn’t talked them up to the Advertising Age reporter.  The partners sat in their sad conference room, all mismatched chairs and no table, lamenting the fact that Lucky Strike was over 70% of their billings and Harry wishing they really did have the second floor they told reporters and clients they did so he could jump out one of its windows.
