And there were plenty of running jokes for Community fans. Magnitude’s heroic sacrifice (“Pop what? What are you trying to say?”), a reminder that Troy is secretly an expert plumber, and nice little bits for so many members of the sprawling supporting cast, including the reveal of the man behind the ice cream costume. Heck, we’re halfway sure that Vicki pulled a Leroy Jenkins on us. The whole cast got their moments to shine, with everybody getting laughs this time out. Shirley’s strange priorities, Jeff’s paintball death scene, Pierce trying to ingratiate himself to the enemy, and Troy’s badass leadership scene. Plus, there was a cameo from a couple of Cougar Town stars (Abed’s favorite show!), as Dan Byrd and Busy Phillipps showed up among the Greendale student body.
