TV’s Moments of Joy: I’m on a Horse!

Burn Notice – Sure, we’ve been talking up The Good Guys every chance we get, but creator Matt Nix’s other show, USA’s Burn Notice, has been having a great season. This week was a fun outing guest-starring both Burt Reynolds and The Wire’s John Doman. It was great to see Reynolds having fun as a retired spy targeted for murder, and we especially loved his scenes with Bruce Campbell – that’s such a natural pairing, it’s hard to believe that nobody’s ever thought of it before. Frankly, we would be very interested in writing a screenplay where Bandit and Ash have to team up to battle a Deadite Buford T. Justice. (We’d even team up Sonny Hooper and Sebastian Haff, if it came to that.)
