TV’s Moments of Joy: Residual Pixie Dust

The Daily Show – Obviously, Jon Stewart has been in his glory for the last couple of weeks, between the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear and his election coverage, but we think you’ll enjoy this clip of his interview with Zach Galifianakis.

Project Runway – OK, we were firmly on Team Mondo, so we weren’t exactly geeked by the way the season ended.  Still, it was a great season overall.  This week, we really loved Heidi Klum and Michael Kors just absolutely having it out during the final judging session.  Sure, but most reality show standards, it would have been a minor disagreement.  But we usually see the judges acting like some kind of hive mind – they’re almost always in agreement.  But Heidi and Michael had very different opinions on Gretchen’s collection, and neither of them wanted to give in.  And because they’re both adults, they managed to resolve it without getting to personal insults or anything, but it was kind of fun to see some conflict among the judges.  Also, it was a reminder that Heidi Klum can be kind of scary when people cross her.  Our favorite things about Heidi are the way she says Nina Garcia’s name and that look she gets in her eyes when somebody displeases here.  You can tell she’s keeping a list somewhere, and brother, you do not want to be on that list.
