Wipeout – This week gave us two new episodes, which is slightly better than Christmas.The new season brings a whole crop of new obstacles, including the hilariously pointless one where the contestant opens one of three doors, only behind every door is a giant battering ram to knock them into the mud.And yet, the fact that choices exist seems to give people false hope.False hope is, of course, the funniest kind of hope.And then commentator John Henson got in on the act, helping to drop luggage on the contestants as they ran on a carousel treadmill – it is always funny when boxes fall on people.And we’re just going to say it, sideline reporter Jill Wagner is a national treasure.
