The Apprentice — That’s right, Famous Original Apprentice returns this year. We haven’t had a new season in three years, and it’s time for Trump to get all weird and awkward with people who aren’t sort-of famous. And this season, all the contestants have lost their jobs in the recession. If you watched last season of Celebrity Apprentice, you know that nothing is more hilarious than Trump pretending to care about the economy. Sure, we’re much more interested in the next season of the Celebrity edition, but this is sure be a good substitute. And by “good”, we mean “tacky and insane”. (Premieres September 16, NBC)
