Parenthood–I am a huge fan of this show, which is entering its second season. There were only 13
episodes in season one, and there’s very little in the way of overarching storyline to pick up on, so I suggest you jump right in. The cast is impeccable…from Lauren Graham and Peter Krause to Dax Shepard, Erika Christensen, Bonnie Bedelia and Craig T. Nelson. That list doesn’t even include the kids, who are uniformly excellent as well. Basically, the Bravermans are a mellower, more sober version of Walkers from Brothers & Sisters. Plus, their banter and their stories are more relateable. (Premiered September 14, ABC)
