Cougar Town–I tuned into last year’s pilot, and was not happy to hear Courtney Cox positively screeching at me, so I tuned right back out. Later in the season, after reading some good buzz, I checked it out again, and found a much more cohesive ensemble and funnier stories. Cox has successfully mellowed out her erratic Jules and her dopey ex, smart son and wacky friends are a great team. And I’m just excited for Josh Hopkins to be on a show that got renewed after the guy won me over on Swingtown a couple summers ago. Seriously, give Cougar Town another shot.
