Undercovers – At this point, we’re going to try out pretty much anything that has J.J. Abrams’ name attached. The man’s earned it. Undercovers is his return to the “Sexy CIA Agent” genre, this time, with a husband and wife team. So it’s like if Alias had continued with the adventures of married Sydney and Vaughn. And brother, that is something that we want to watch. Presumably, Undercovers will have some crazy overarching mythology like Alias, Lost, and Fringe, which is also something that we want to see. But even if it’s just a show where ridiculously hot people kicking ass and saving the world, it should be plenty of fun. (Premieres September 22, ABC)
