Eastbound and Down – Last season ended with disgraced pitcher Kenny Powers faking a return to 
baseball and leaving his girlfriend at a gas station before skipping town. So where can he go from there? Mexico. That’s right – Kenny is joining a Mexican baseball league, and we can’t think of anything we want to see more than Kenny Powers in a foreign country. It’s a pretty gutsy move to ditch the entire supporting cast (Well, except for Stevie. International borders aren’t going to keep him from his hero.), but we’d expect nothing less from Eastbound. Kenny is one of the great comedy creations the last few years, and we can’t wait to see what Danny McBride has in store for us. Besides Kenny’s new cornrows, that is. Any chance Will Ferrell will pop up again? Maybe as Ashley Schaffer’s cousin from Tijuana? Please? (Season Premiere September 26, HBO)
