Metalocalypse — Dethklok is coming back to Adult Swim, and we are in the process of securing our faces, lest they be rocked off. Last season, Brendon Small’s metal comedy expanded to a half hour, and it worked out brilliantly. The extra time allowed the jokes to build, as well as giving room to the meta-story that’s run through the series. So we learned why it’s beneficial to drink bleach, and got to see more of Selatcia’s machinations. Hopefully we find out what it is he’s up to and what Ofendsen has planned. And just to get it on record, EJ’s been saying for two years (especially when he drinks) that Selatcia is actually Odin, and he’s trying to bring about the Metalocalypse to forestall Ragnarok. If he’s right, he’s not going to shut up about it. (Season Premiere September 26, Cartoon Network)
