TV’s Moments of Joy: The Fife Corps

Hell’s Kitchen: This has been a very weird season, and the two episodes that aired on Tuesday were no exception. There was the sheer magic of sous chef Scott yelling at contestant Benjamin so loud that it looked like he was going to pass out. And Scott never yells, you guys. He just hangs back and gets the job done. This was eight seasons of anger finally welling up to the surface. But even better was the budding romance between hottie Holly and blue-haired Jay. They’re an unlikely pair, but we saw the strangest flirting ever while they went on a shopping trip. Then, they got busy in the hot tub. Seriously, we expect to see dry humping on Big Brother, but on Hell’s Kitchen it’s just weird. Luckily for our sanity, a clueless Autumn showed up just in time to kill the mood. Let’s just say, Jay’s hair wasn’t the only thing that was blue. (Wow. That was a really hacky joke. We apologize for suddenly turning into that guy in the office who everybody avoids.)
