TV’s Moments of Joy: The Fife Corps
Both Flight of the Conchords albums are on there, because I love them. The songs hold up just fine without the videos, and I’ll especially point to “Carol Brown” as one that almost transcends its silliness to become a real song. I’ve got DriveShaft’s hit “You All, Everybody”, and it turns out the rest of the song is even stupider than the brief clips we heard on Lost. Then there’s “Negro y Azul”, which is an actual narcocorrida about Walter White of Breaking Bad. I know hardly any Spanish, but it’s still a great song.
