The Office-While we sometimes fear this show has seen all of its best days, we still love it to death. And tonight’s Halloween outing restored our faith in all things Dunder Mifflin. The cold open was an instant classic that reminded us of the good old days. The costumes were a riot, with everything from Michael as MacGruber, Ryan as Justin Beiber, Kelly as Snookie, Kevin as Michael Moore, Gabe as Lady Gaga, Andy and Meredith as Bill and Sookie from True Blood and Pam as Olive Oyl. The main plot centered on Darryl, who apparently went around Michael to Gabe with an idea for drivers making sales on the road, and Michael was, as usual, an immature manchild in expressing his frustration at this perceived slight. This seems to be setting up a developing storyline for the former warehouse manager, and we can’t wait to see Darryl Philbin rock Dunder Mifflin. Plus, we seem to have a battle brewing between Tim Olyphant’s Danny and the erstwhile Todd Packer, so that could be fun, too. But the best single moment of joy had to be when Jim, reluctant all day to put on his Popeye costume, showed up for contest time all dressed up for his “goyl” and with Swee’P (aka baby CeCe!) in tow! Team JAM!
