The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret – This great IFC series hit a new high last week, as Will
Arnett’s Brent Wilts finally made it to England to check in with Todd. Of course, since Todd hasn’t sold a single can of Thunder Muscle, this creates a bit of stress. Arnett has been hilariously profane in his brief appearances so far, and having him interact directly with David Cross is always great. This week, we found out that Brent is broke and desperate, and since he’s relying on the world’s worst salesman to turn things around, it’s only going to get worse. Todd himself continues to be TV’s most maddening character – his luck is so consistently bad that you have to feel sorry for him, but he’s also petty and dishonest, and some of his misfortunes are actually his own fault. So, you know, pretty much the ideal David Cross character.
