–The “Mr. Mouth” reference kills me. And man, you have to feel sorry for poor HELPeR.
This episode almost seems like a throwaway in the context of the series – it introduces characters who are minor at best and it’s not like Venture Bros. is really known for its outer space episodes. And while it’s a simple story, it’s funny and it does set the table for a lot of what’s to come, especially in regards to Doc and Jonas Venture. It also defines the show’s take on technology – it’s shiny and cool, but will almost definitely kill you.
Next week, it’s the classic “Mid-Life Chrysalis”, which is pretty much the best title ever. See you then!
