Doc continues making a cocoon involuntarily, he prepares for the worst until Charlene arrives. As he says his good-byes, she injects him once again. Later, Brock returns to the strip club, and when the bartender hassles him, Brock slaps down his renewed License to Kill and jumps over the bar. After the credits, Doc emerges from his cocoon, human and totally confused.
–Dr. Girlfriend seems legitimately emotional here – she’s a bit of a soft touch. Let’s face it, if pity weren’t a serious romantic motivator for her, she wouldn’t be with the Monarch in the first place.
Well, that’s another good one! Hank and Dean are really funny here, every Brock scene is awesome, and Doc has just the right mixture of arrogance and self-loathing. It’s become the show we know and love. Next week, we’ll be looking at an episode that a lot of people cite as their favorite, “Eeny, Meeny, Miney… Magic”. That’s right, it’s the first appearance of Dr. Orpheus! Also, Brock fights ninjas, polar bears, and a dinosaur. It’s going to be awesome.
