Our heroes are in the X-1, which is flagged down by a couple of Air Force F-15’s. Brock lands the ship, and once on the ground, the two pilots bust them for having an unregistered vehicle with no flight plan on file. Brock produces his OSI clearance, but then finds out that his License to Kill expired two months ago.
–And there we are, the first reference to the Office of Secret Intelligence. Also, I think this is the first time that we’ve seen HELPeR ride in a compartment on top of the X-1 – that’s one of many Star Wars references on this show. HELPeR rides in the X-1 the same way R2-D2 rides in Luke’s X-Wing Fighter.
