The X-1 lands in a jungle paradise. Hank and Dean are excited about the African wildlife. A call on the radio welcomes them to Brisby Land – they actually landed in the “African Veldt” section of the theme park. Doc orders them to stay on the X-1, which is not an order the boys take well. Mandalay, a large, unspeaking man in a turban arrives to escort Doc and Brock to their meeting with Mr. Brisby.
–It always makes me made that Doc won’t let the boys hang out at the amusement park while he’s in his meeting. Granted, whenever they go off by themselves, they tend to get kidnapped. We’ve already established that Hank is more likely to mouth off to Doc than Dean is, which continues to this day.
