OK, this one was amazing. I know, it’s not as if “EJ likes Venture Bros. Episode” is earth-shattering news, but this episode was really stunning. Most of it takes place in Doc’s psyche, and the sheer level of detail just impressed upon me that Dr. Venture is more fleshed-out than most live-action characters. It’s really brilliant, and it might be one of the best episodes of the series. And considering that there’s almost no action, that’s really an achievement. After all, I tend to grade episodes based on the number of people Brock punches.
This is going to be a long one, so grab a sandwich and settle in. And get ready to feel really, really sorry for one Dr. Thaddeus Venture.
