–So, it falls to the fantasy women to put together the puppet.  Or as Orpheus puts it, “They can help mend your little boy”.  You know what Doc never had?  A mother.  We have never heard a single reference to her, and we don’t know if Doc ever knew her.  Every single flashback has shown Jonas as single, though.  So every woman Doc has lusted after come together to fix his inner child.  And check it out – they speak with women’s voices now.  But not the voices their characters usually have – they have sort of generic lady voices.  Because now they’re not the women they represent visually, and they’re not Doc’s masturbatory fantasies.  They’re a legion of mother figures who just want to take care of the broken little boy.  And while that has the makings of a massive Oedipal meltdown, it also might be just what he needs to start coming into his own.
