–This is awesome, too. Orpheus has clearly figured all this out, because his plan involves Superego and Eros leading the boys to the entrance to the Tragic Memory Ducts. Orpheus says that their strength and love, respectively, will draw them in. Doc wants to be better for his boys. On some level, he knows how badly they need for him to be a role model and how much they crave his love, which is why the manifestations of his guilt are drawn to those qualities. And look at the real Doc when he finally wakes up – he seems calmer and more in control. Maybe stronger. Ordinarily, he’d have freaked out to wake up and not know what was going on, but he just quietly gives some orders and goes back to bed. It just might be that Orpheus mucking around in his head actually helped him in the long-term. This could be a new era for Doc.
