Venture Brothers – Everybody Comes to Hank’s – Venture Bro

I’m going to be honest with you – this one’s going to get weird.

This week, we saw things I didn’t think we were ever going to see. While the mystery of Dermott’s parentage gets resolved, it’s done in a way that people were not expecting. It’s pretty disturbing. And then that thing with Hank happened, and I’m still kind of shocked that they went there. It’s a really good, clever episode with a pretty great gimmick. You have to give it up for Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer – they have never once coasted with this show.

I should note before we begin that the title comes from “Everybody Comes to Rick’s”, the unproduced play that was the basis for Casablanca. I think cinema history would be very different if they had kept that title.
