–Worth noting that Shore Leave is a much better shot than Sgt. Hatred. Hatred misses 21’s wings entirely, and Shore Leave manages to shoot off the buckles that attach them. And when Hatred shoots 21 in the chest, he had just announced that he was aiming for his feet.

Dean shows up (in a Brock-driven limo) to take Triana to the prom. The Outrider and the former Mrs. Orpheus take pictures. Outrider thinks Brock is Dean’s dad, and Brock assures “Cowboy Dracula” that everything we’ll be fine. As Dean tries to pin the corsage on Triana, her actual boyfriend, Raven, arrives. He’s a Twilight-looking guy with stunted legs who walks on crutches. And of course, he’s totally cool that Triana is going to her friend’s fake prom. Dean is shattered.
