The Most Awesome Thing We Saw Last Week: Farewell, Kuttner

#1–The Return of Rescue Me, featuring Michael J. Fox!  Yes, after an almost TWO YEAR hiatus (due primarily to the writers’ strike), Denis Leary’s darkly comic saga of Manhattan firefighters affected by the fallout of 9/11 and a host of other personal demons, was back in fine form.  This season is already getting rave reviews for its upcoming story arcs and its ability to keep these unique characters fresh going into season five.  The first episode covered the death of Tommy Gavin’s father and its impact on his family.  We also learned that Tommy’s daughter was sleeping with “Black Sean”, another firefighter and Tommy is still facing being forced out of the firehouse due to a Section 8 (aka, being crazy).  Speaking of crazy, we still have Sheila, and Tommy’s ex Janet who he just learned is dating Michael J. Fox, playing a guy named Dwight.  Word has it he’s a paraplegic and he’s amazing in bed…I’m just glad to see him on my TV.
