I rarely write about House. That’s largely because the show is so consistently good that any attempt would turn into “Wasn’t House great this week?” And then we’d all high-five. Despite its seemingly limited “medical mystery of the week” premise, House actually boasts some of the best characterization and most inspired plotting on network TV. And then there’s Hugh Laurie, who’s giving a fantastic performance every week. Keep in mind, he’s not only one of best leads on TV right now, but he’s also doing it with a fake limp and a fake American accent.
