The Most Awesome Thing We Saw Last Week: Farewell, Kuttner

Initially, Jesse was comic relief, with his stoner antics breaking up crushing scenes of Walter’s chemotherapy. But as the first season progressed, Jesse got deeper, and this season, his struggles are no less gripping than Walter’s own. While at first he just wanted to be a big-time dealer, now Jesse’s lost his home and is trying desperately to keep a roof over his head. And while Jesse’s still a screw-up, we’re seeing the toll it takes on him.
