Though this was the most awesome thing I saw, the entire 90 minute show this week was highly entertaining. Only one sketch was really not funny (the clubbing one) and the rest ranged from ludicrous (Lawrence Welk) to delightful (the awful local news team who claims to be the most You Tubed in the country), the way any classic episode of SNL does. Anne Hathaway was completely game for whatever as host, including a spot-on Mary Poppins impression. And Fred Armisen as Barney Frank? Perfect! The sketch that shouldn’t be funny but totally was anyway? “Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals”.
