The Most Awesome Things We Saw Last Week!: The Bubble (Mar 24)

On the other end of the emotional spectrum came the second season finale of Flight of the Conchords.  The Conchords have been pretty open about saying that they don’t have any plans for a third season, but that would be a real shame.  For two seasons, it’s been one of the most entertaining comedies on TV.

In the finale, Bret and Jemaine lose their apartment when their landlord realized they’ve been paying their rent in New Zealand dollars.  Forced to move in with their stalker, they take their manager’s advice to turn their lives into an Off-Broadway musical.  Only, the script bears more resemblance to Star Wars than to their actual lives.  By the end, there’s an absolutely insane musical number about cannibalism, a discussion of the manliness of harps, and a line of dancing Murrays.
