The Most Awesome Things We Saw Last Week!: The Bubble (Mar 24)

Given the sub- title of this week’s column, you might have guessed that we liked 30 Rock this week, as we always do.  The thing of it is, for those of us moderately obsessed with this show, we always find its wackiness enjoyable, even when we know it could hardly be grounded in reality, much like the fictional Tracy Jordan’s entire career.    That being said, the show is even more awesome when it explores the sort of Seinfeldian themes we’ve missed in our comedy since that show left us a decade ago.  This week we learned how much easier life really is for The Beautiful People, like Tracy, who earned over $300 million last year (mostly from a porn video game), and Drew (played by guest star Jon Hamm), who has sailed through life thanks entirely to his good looks.
