Somehow, I don’t think 2008 is going to go down as a banner year for much of anybody, except maybe Barack Obama and Robert Downey, Jr. The good news amongst all the bad this year was certainly another year of quality television. There were even some pretty monumental events we shared this year, mostly through the magic of television. The election was certainly one of those, as were many things surrounding that landmark night. And when the political ads and talking heads and CNN turning people like Will.i.am into holograms got to be too much, we could always turn on any number of fine programs…except from about December to April, during the writers’ strike. We have the scars from watching every second of Celebrity Apprentice to prove our point there.
