The Star Trek trailer–I’ve never once been excited for a Star Trek movie. But this one coming up in May 2009, directed by one J.J. Abrams and starring Heroes‘ Zachary Quinto as Spock, looks nothing short of amazing. Watch it in HD and you just might wet your pants.
If all of that wasn’t enough, I’m anticipating the early 2009 returns of Big Love, HBO’s inventive and endearing polygamy-themed drama and Rescue Me, Denis Leary’s testosterone fest; shows that were both delayed in their returns thanks to the writers’ strike. They’re two more personal favorites that I’m expecting to enjoy immensely. In the meantime, I hope you all enjoyed my thoughts on the Best of 2008 and have a Happy New Year!
