Snap Judgements: Amazing Race 16 (Feb 12)

EJ:  Oh man, that’s her!  I am sort of surprised to learn that she has an ongoing existence outside of Tosh.0.  I actually think they’re going to be kind of interesting, because the earmarks of craziness are there.  Brent’s biggest problem with Caite is that “she can’t take criticism”, which is code for “she gets mad when I yell at her for being stupid”.  And then she claims that she “can beat pretty much every guy in anything”, which is hilarious child-like hyperbole.  Just imagine what that would entail – being able to be any many at anything.  Home run derby with Albert Pujols?  Caite wins.  Butterfly stroke vs. Michael Phelps?  Caite.  Writing a piercing novel about being unable to let go of old grudges while facing imminent death vs. Philip Roth?  Caite’s taking it!  Jon Hamm better watch it, or Caite’s going to be stealing the role of Don Draper!  Men of the world, you have met your match.
