Snap Judgements: Amazing Race 16 (Feb 12)

EJ:  He owns his own business, she has a Masters Degree.  He’s into weightlifting, and they’re adorable.  They seem like contenders right off the bat, with out any major weaknesses that jump out on the page.  I do like that Adrian’s pet peeve is Dana’s “obnoxious burps”, because that gives me hope that belching will turn out to be a plot point this season.

Don: Two people with boy names. Or girl names. I can’t tell which is which. I read their bio and knew for a moment which was which, but by the end of the season, if you put a gun to my head and ask me, “Dana was the?” …I still won’t be able to match the ambiguous name with the gender. And I don’t think this odd name pairing will help them in any tasks.
