None of this intrigue would have been possible without the POV version of “Yankee Swap” being played this week. Michael Scott would be proud. He’d also look like a genius in this group. At least I’m fairly certain that, unlike Natalie, he knows there are 26 letters in the alphabet, because the “and” preceding “z” in the song is not a letter. The POV also marked the return of Jen’s red unitard from season 8, and all I can say is I hope it’s been washed, like, a lot, ’cause she wore that thing commando. Sheila got stuck with it, and after some hemming and hawing about how Ryan shouldn’t have taken the $10,000 Adam gave her in exchange for a motorcycle, she rocked it with some black boots and panties over it and vaguely resembled Elastigirl from The Incredibles.
