Well, despite the two-plus hour commute I endured to get home due to a snowstorm, it feels just like summer when I see Julie Chen, aka The Chenbot, on my TV screen. Julie, resplendent in body glitter, a red & hot pink sweater dress and black knee-high boots welcomes us to the first ever winter edition of Big Brother. Thanks, Jules. Damn glad to be here!
Our friendly announcer goes over the basics of the game, such as they are. Contestants will compete for everything from food to their very survival. He also tells us that Big Brother is playing matchmaker, and that soulmates will become teammates. The super-cheesy Big Brother logo, complete with a smoldering heart (listen to those flames crackle!) appears on screen.
