And then Richard is on the Black Rock. It’s really cool to see things like this finally play out, isn’t it? There’s a storm, and the ship is being tossed about. Richard and the other slaves can see the Island – specifically, the Statue. They, not unreasonably, believe it’s the Devil. A wave actually sends the Black Rock right into the statue, and that is why there’s only the one foot remaining. Nice!
