LOST Revisited 6-9 “Ab Aeterno”

By the time he returns, it’s too late for Isabella. And about ten seconds later, he’s arrested for murder. Later, we see him in prison, reading the Bible. (It’s the Gospel of Luke, and if you think I’m not going to try and figure out the exact passage, you haven’t been paying attention.) A priest brings him food and offers to hear his confession. Although the priest won’t actually absolve him, tells Richard he doesn’t have time for penance, and that the Devil is waiting for him in hell.
