LOST Revisited: “Ji Yeon” (Mar 14)

Well, before we get it into the heartbreak, I want everybody to know that the ABC website says that my Sawyer Nickname (as advertised during the episode) is “Lightbulb”.  From her on out, you should all address me accordingly.

For the second week in a row, the bonus points go to Becky Kenny.  Last week, both Benry and I mentioned the numbered rabbits, and I noted that Dr. Marvin Candle panicked when two rabbits with the same number were in the room together.  Becky suggests that those two rabbits were actually the same rabbit, and one was pulled from the past or future.  That’s a very cool theory for which I wish I could take credit.

And we finally met Regina in this episode!  Of course she died even more quickly than Minkowski.  By the way, Regina was played by Zoe Bell, best known as Uma Thurman‘s stunt double.

She also played herself in Quentin Tarantino‘s Death Proof.  And in other casting trivia, the admitting nurse in Sun’s flash-forward was played by Christina Kim, who is actually a member of the Lost writing staff.

During the repeat of last week’s episode, there was an ad for Dyson, where the pitchman talks about how they improved on Faraday’s design for the motor.  For just a second, I thought it was a fake ad, but they were really talking about vacuums.
