LOST Revisited: Pre-Game for “The Lighthouse”

Balance – So, I have a sister who’s a lot smarter than I am. And she watched last week’s episode and was very excited about its references to Zoroastrianism. It’s an ancient religion that has a special focus on balance, along with fire and water. Interestingly, George Lucas was said to be very influenced by Zoroastrianist thought in the creation of Star Wars. (On the list of his influences, it was right behind “50’s movie serials” and right ahead of “ripping off Kurosawa”.)
