Back in LA, Jack and Kate watch Norton meet up with Kate’s mother at a motel. Jack knows her and tries to talk some sense into her and get her to let Kate keep Aaron. Only “Who’s Aaron?” Ha! I should have seen that coming, but I didn’t. And while Jack says she was getting her settlement, I think we all know that she was being used as bait. (Yes, I know it was actually Claire’s mother, not Kate’s. 1 AM recapping is a harsh mistress. – EJ)
