Mad Men Roundtable – “Chinese Wall”

Don’s also begging Faye for leads, which just makes her feel used, but he makes her feel bad enough to give him Heinz. Too bad it’s directly after his evening at the office with Meghan, because you can feel the guilt dripping off him. That was a shocker, but maybe it shouldn’t have been. Meghan knew just how to stroke Don’s ego; letting him tell her all about how much she loved his Glo-Coat commercial, saying she wanted to do what he does someday, all the while flirting and giggling like a champ. When she seduced him and said she wouldn’t run out crying tomorrow but she just wanted him right now…well, she’s either a forerunner of Demi Moore in Disclosure or she’s full of crap. The sensitivity she’s shown us up until now (remember how visibly moved she was following the whole Sally debacle?) make me think it’s the latter, no matter what she said out loud.
