Don the boyscout earns a merit badge for his ‘quicky’, but still does not earn the right to come home. After Betty and he return from seeing Betty’s father, Betty reiterates she’s not ready to forgive Don. But as the episode unfolds and Betty is faced with being in-charge and seeing what divorce and separation does to children, perhaps she’s readying to make amends and take control in other ways. Her conversation with Helen puts her at a crossroads. Will Betty make Don’s eviction permanent, or will she welcome him back and make sure the things he’s done, he’ll never do, again?
