You know, this particular episode was accidentally leaked onto iTunes for a short time a little more than a week ago. And while I do my best to remain spoiler-free, I feel like somebody should have warned me that Roger Sterling would be doing blackface this week. That’s the kind of thing you need to prepare yourself for.
This was a really tight episode, with all but a couple of scenes taking place over a single night. And other than the poor, put-upon writers, there was no discussion of Sterling-Cooper business. Don even tells Pete not to hand out his business card – it’s a business-free episode.
