Anyway, Gene is obsessed with his missing five dollars, and I was really worried for poor Carla. I think she had more lines this week than in the series to date, and I spent every one of her scenes worrying that Gene was going to just totally go off on her. For that matter, Gene was giving off a really creepy vibe with Sally, and I thought this was going to go someplace awful. But it didn’t, so let’s speak no more of it. Sally “found” the $5 in the most incompetent way possible – tossing it into the room and then acting surprised. The man made you spend all day looking for his money, that’s a full day to pretend you found it and bring it to him. Yes, I’m debating a child’s talent for deception. Too many Big Brother recaps, I think.
