As we discussed before, it’s pretty much a given that Don is going to keep Sal’s secret. However, Sal has no way of knowing that. He doesn’t know what Don’s hiding, he doesn’t know what he helped Peggy hide – Sal had no reason to believe that Don had his back. But with this episode, with Don’s support and words of praise, I think Sal may finally realize that he can trust Don. Of course, that’s going to be a moot point, since I don’t think Kitty’s going to keep her realization secret.
