But will this engagement even make it to the altar? On the one hand, I can’t really see Don backing out of this one, if only because of how great Megan is with the children. Part of me thinks he meant what he said when he told her he could be the man he wanted to be with her. Another part, however, thinks he’s just deluding himself some more, trying to fit into some suburban mold that he’ll grow restless of in no time flat. A year of TV dinners and the dank Village apartment have scared him straight…but it can only last so long for Don Draper. Didn’t you see him looking longingly out that window while Megan slept peacefully on his chest?
