When Monday finally came, Don was forced to hire scrappy little Danny, who incidentally looks like the head of the Lollipop Guild in Munchkinland next Jon Hamm, but the hilarious visual only adds humor to the ironic situation. You see, it seems that Don only ended up at Sterling Cooper in the first place because he was to talk Roger into getting a drink with him (which became the first of many drinking marathons for this duo) and got him drunk enough to hire him and not even remember he did it. Part of me isn’t sure Roger even did hire him. One thing Dick Whitman, er, Don Draper knows how to do is talk himself into or out of situations.
